Examining them for a hint of who was the child he sought. Instead, he met chocolate brown eyes that widened at his sight. A small girl perhaps the same age as Hope was. Although she rubbed her eyes exhausted, she observed his every move.
A complete stranger, dressed in black, standing in her home in the middle of the night. At least he had no blood on his clothes.

When Josie is struggling to sleep she likes to play her ukulele at the old mill, but who she finds already at the mill surprises her. Since admitting her past feelings for Hope, Josie can tell there is something different between them she just can't tell what it is.
So what happens when old feelings get stirred up, some one gets a little burst of courage, and Dr. Saltzman allows the students to have a karaoke/open mic night?

That's all she can get out before collapsing to her knees. The pain only grows as she can feel her wolf starting to surface. The pain becomes more familiar as the wolf thrashes inside of her. Her eyes turn golden.
"Hope?! What's wrong? Are you okay?" Josie comes down instantly to where the Tribrid is curled up at. Setting a hand on her shoulder.
"Josie, you need to get away now!" Her voice is shifting to allow for the canines that are rapidly growing, her voice sounding more animalistic than human.
Her bones begin to crack and break as she allows herself to embrace the shift and the pain.
OR
Hope and Josie are soulmates, and Hope has hidden that fact her entire life. But now, her wolf refuses to leave Josie's side and forces Hope to shift.
