Summary
Pale-skinned, white-haired, and white-eyed, Lucen was cursed from birth and remained frail until his demise. After being reborn as a demon, he awakens in Hell. Somehow, he is taken in by Vierna, the strongest demon in the realm and the ruler of Hell.
Lucen quickly learns that in order to survive, he must learn to control his abilities and develop strength despite his illness. But as time passes, Vierna's memories of human life fade; they become uncharacteristically cold. Lucen’s fight to save them entangles with his own lingering sickness. Power and desire blur between master and pupil, devotion turns dangerous, and in Hell, nothing stays pure for long, not even a former church boy.
