After showering alone, he examines his naked, condensated reflection and makes a point to think nothing of the purple bruises upon his hipbones, nor the red marks on his collarbones, nor the almost-faded memories of nails that only shine under the fluorescent lights. It will all be gone soon, the souvenirs of that night, stretched out and camouflaged amongst his clean skin.
