Summary
Shane Hollander found God at 15, and then decided to dedicate his life to preach the words of the Lord to make amends for his wrongdoings, repent himself and help others. Eleven years later, after a long day in his clergy clothes, he finds himself in a bar, where this bold and confident bartender doesn’t leave him unfazed.
Ilya Rozanov fled Russia at 23, because it wasn’t safe anymore and ended up in Boston on the pretext of finishing his degree. At 25, he leaves the United States and ends up in Ottawa, Canada, where he finds a job in a local bar. What he didn’t expect was to find, sitting at the counter, a priest, looking at his drink. And quite a handsome one.
When these two men who have nothing in common start talking and get to know each other, something inside of them lights up. Feelings bloom, wounds that were buried under years of denial and hatred are reopened, in a whirlwind of flesh, kisses, and pain.
Because the fire that burns inside of them is a hazardous game: if they are not being cautious, some hearts can get broken in the process. Or worse.
