Summary
Sou brought his hand to the doll’s head and lightly brushed his fingers through its hair. Of course, it wasn’t quite as soft as Shin’s was. It was close, he had to admit—the thin nylon strands were an incredible substitute for the real deal—but it still wasn’t Shin’s hair. The fabrication also lacked the vague citrus scent that Sou had once teased Shin about. The man was always so self-conscious whenever Sou pointed out things like that, even if he had meant it as a compliment. Poor, suspicious Shin… always seeking out and cutting himself on the thorns instead of simply appreciating the beauty of the roses he’d been given.
