Summary
After Takane's first game, things had gone downhill for Shintaro. She had been on screen officially, revealing what the grand Ene looked like, and him, Ayano and Haruka had to put up with Lightning Dancer Ene's improvised meet and greet that suddenly spawned when she got off the stage.
(Shintaro, Ayano and Haruka accompany Takane to her debut at a gaming tournament. They find not so pleasant company).

Summary
Either way, the only reason Takane can think this right now is because she's trying to hold on to at least some semblance of reason. Haruka still likes her, somehow, even after her stupidity caused them to part and miserably stumble through life without each other by choice, her choice. They had loved one another so much, without leaving room to love themselves, that it inevitably crashed down into an unmitigated dissension.

Summary
Shintaro has not made friends since highschool, and even that ended up blowing up in his face. Of course he's glad that's solved now, but it still meant he was very out of practice in the social department. Making a new friend didn't sound entirely bad, really, even if it was Kano Shuuya.
