Summary

Still, he needed the job to cover the rent for the apartment he shared with his roommate, Fiddleford, and he was determined to finish his multiple degrees. It was a necessary part of the journey.

Stanley holds up a gloved hand, his index finger raised. “You’re much dirtier and older than me.” His middle finger joins in. “Wrapping that shit up will only trap bacteria and make you more liable to go septic.” Ring finger joins the team. “There’s no way you can walk on that busted-up leg.” Little finger comes running, last man on the field. “I have been hauling your ass out of the jaws of monsters for months on end, I am much stronger than you think I am.”
Stan and Ford have been chasing monsters for some time, their relationship scabbed over and brotherly. Embarking on a new part of their adventure might cause a tempest, however.
