Unlike Rand, the Aes Sedai isn’t absorbed in fanciful delusions of Lanfear’s past. Moiraine can break her, consume her, redeem her. Yes. With Moiraine, maybe she can find redemption. Moiraine hates her enough that surely all she needs to do is ask, and yet, she can’t seem to form the words. So she continues to push, hoping Moiraine will do it for her.
