Nanako thought this would help him, changing scenaries and having a fresh start, this would make his kid feel better, right?
After losing his father, Langa moves to Okinawa with his mother, dealing with the deep sadness of not having his dad around anymore, Langa starts going to his new school in which he meets some interesting people. Specially Reki, a kid his age that spends most of his day with a skateboard under his feet and does not really care about classes and grades that much.
Throughout this story Langa tries to learn and understand how to deal with his grief, while also dealing with weird, totally not romantic feelings for that one guy at his class.

Susan has forgotten about being a child. She is the blessed, the chosen, the promised. Susan has decades on her classmates, wars, loss and betrayal, victory and growing fields, the trust of her subjects. It was a visceral thing, to have all those lives under her protection and to know that her subjects slept safe, peacefully, on dark nights.
Here, on this drab concrete, her people are untouchable, indefensible; her self is vanished, her kingdom gone; she can feel the loss like a wound. She has lost her power, but that trust, that responsibility remains. It circles her ankles, trips her in the school hallways.

Summary
13 year old Wendy Darling and her two brothers are devastated when it is revealed that Wendy will be forced to move away with her aunt for five years to prepare her for marriage to the pompous son of a government official, when they are whisked away to Neverland with Peter Pan. The four instantly form a bond that will last them all of their years, finding mermaids, battling pirates, and enjoying their youth. Wendy and Peter, however, find themselves beginning to feel something different. When the three children must sadly return home, their parents are too joyful to have them back that they refuse to let Wendy go with her aunt, but her five year engagement is still on. At this news, Peter promises Wendy that he will return to her before she is married off in her 18th year.
As the time passes, Peter fades to a figment of the children's imaginations. In Wendy's mind, the boy of her past is just a hopeful character of fiction that she created as a child to try and escape the reality of a wedding to a boy she hates.
