Mostly screenshot-based fanart I've made during the stacked rewatch of Due South on discord/Tumblr. This started out as a timestamp roulette kind of thing but has become more of a personal art odyssey and who knows where it'll end. :D I'm posting my art on Tumblr as soon as I finish something, but I decided to collect these bits and pieces here, too, in weekly chapters.

Summary
These two pictures are my first ever printed works - and printed works in what still counts as an underground publication, the SHareCon zine. That is why, although I work digitally, I wanted to do something special as an homage to the traditional medium and the underground spirit: both pictures are based on pencil drawings by the grand old man of gay erotic art, Tom of Finland. Tom, alias Touko Laaksonen (1920-1991), was a Finnish underground artist who became an international gay celebrity after his US exhibitions in the late 1970s. If you want to learn more about Tom, The Guardian has a nice article on how Tom helped create the modern gay aesthetic.
