Summary
Newly appointed to the rank of Wingleader, Xaden Riorson only has one goal for his third and final year at Basgiath: Get all the marked ones bonded and graduated so they might stand a fighting chance against the true evil lurking at Navarre’s borders. The only problem is that Violet Sorrengail, his enemy’s youngest daughter, has also joined the Rider’s Quadrant this year. He doesn’t know why she’s here, what her plans are, or if he can trust her. All he knows is that he can’t seem to stay away.
This is a rewrite of my previous fic “The Wingleader – Xaden’s POV”. It’s a Fourth Wing retelling from Xaden’s POV with new Iron Flame updates. It follows the dialogue and chapter timeline from Fourth Wing with my own interpretations and theories of Xaden’s actions and feelings.
Do not read if you haven’t finished both FW AND IF - major spoilers from BOTH books throughout!

Heir of Fire from Rowan's POV - I know this has already been done, but the versions I have found are all unfinished, so I thought I'd take a shot at it!
Ive always wanted an exploration of Rowan's life before and around Aelin - so this fic will do some of that. This will obviously comply with canon (though I am going to add lots of details to fill in the blanks, including other POV's), and (almost) all dialogue will come directly from Heir of Fire. Rowan knew a lot more about Aelin and the world she was entering than she did for a lot of this book, so I'm writing this with that in mind.
Note- Ive seen a few comments that seem to be from people who just read HoF for the first time and then came right to this fic. I definitely recommend reading the whole series before you come to this! There are spoilers in here for stuff that isn't revealed until the later books! (and the cadre POV's probably wont make much sense either)

Summary
Sgaeyl is one of the strongest dragons in the Empyrean, mated to one of the most feared dragons on the continent. This is a retelling of Fourth Wing from Sgaeyl's POV, as she interprets Xaden's point of view through their bond. It contains countless FW/ IF spoilers.
All FW and IF storylines were created by the wonderful Rebecca Yarros, and this is simply my attempt to remain in the world she so adeptly imagined and described.
