Daniel feels the power in the room like electricity in the air and a deep, primal instinct says to him, hide. Retreat. “You’re an addict, Daniel. You were addicted to me, to my blood. You would have died if you kept going on as you were. I had no choice.”
“And who gave me the blood in the first place?” Daniel shouts. “Don’t act all innocent, Armand. You made the decision to give it to me in the first place, after ignoring me for years. Don’t tell me the mighty Vampire Armand was so beholden to some stupid addict kid from Modesto that he couldn’t say no.”

Summary
“Hi,” Troy says, and it doesn’t feel like enough.
Because Abed is in front of him, blinking in that way he used to back when Troy still knew him, his eyes just as gentle and mysterious. But no greeting would ever be enough to capture the weight of this moment, Troy doesn’t think so.
“Troy,” Abed says after a long time, with no particular intonation, “I didn’t expect to see you here.”
(Or, three years have passed, and Abed is still a clone.)

This course covers the following topics over three decades: divorce, lonely childhoods, late nights staring out the window wondering, "will I ever make it out of here?", making it out, and losing it all anyway. Anyone who struggles with or is genetically predisposed to missing Troy need not enroll.
