Summary
Seonghwa twists and turns to find his mother in the small crowd, but his lips pull into a thin line when no one of her familiar stature finds his eye. Someone else does though.
You’ve got to be kidding me, Seonghwa’s mind almost wails, clawing at the steel bars his brain has put around this specific area of thought, as he walks towards—
“Long time no see.” Hongjoong smirks as he throws his cigarette onto the ground.
(Or, Seonghwa goes back to the house to help his parents move out. Inevitably, Hongjoong is there too).

Summary
But now, the world was staring at him with coffee brown eyes, sandy hair, and too much leather for Kevin’s own good. If this was a challenge from whatever gods were testing his will to stay alive, Kevin was ready to accept. He was done with hiding from people because of shame and fear. He came to New York for a reason, and he wasn't about to let the ghost of his past keep him from breaking out of his shell.

Summary
Hongjoong glanced down at the bag that had been dropped at his feet. Everything they had lost, everything he had lost, recovered. He looked up. A steel gaze was already locked on him. Before he could grasp the words, Seonghwa turned and walked back to the van. Everyone followed suit, leaving Hongjoong to slide into the front passenger seat last.

Summary
His brain, wheezing probably, valiantly supplies him with one response:
“Oh fuck, you’re an e-boy,” he blurts out.
Jacob, nursing a decade-long love for his best friend, loses it a bit over Kevin’s bleached hair.
