Summary
A retelling of the Hobbit in which Yavanna and Aulë make a bet with each other to determine if they would fall in love with each other no matter the circumstances. There is one condition, neither Valar, or their Istari, are permitted in assisting the two mortals they choose. The two mortals must find themselves on their own, and they must fall in love with no interference.
Bilbo Baggins and Thorin Oakenshield must navigate the Quest for Erebor with a very strange, unexplainable connection to one another.
