Summary
When Albedo didn't have his nose stuck in his sketchbook or another report, he can be seen stealing glances at his apprentice. He doesn't know when he had developed the habit but Sucrose, for all her expertise in observation and analysis, can be quite oblivious to his cerulean stare.
On the other hand, Sucrose is beginning to feel something she's never felt before when she sees Albedo and Lumine getting closer. For all of Albedo's genius and attention to detail, he fails to understand why Sucrose has started to avoid him.
Like all good alchemists, they put these feelings and impulses on hold and simply observe.

Summary
After the events of Dragonspine, Albedo is bedridden with nightmares of what he’s done. Sucrose's memories are foggy at best after the incident and Albedo remains hopeful that her memories will return in time. However, when this facade shatters, he's forced to stop playing pretend and confront a secret he has been trying to forget. Denial and regret clash over Albedo's shoulders as he must make a choice, no matter how difficult it may be.
Will Albedo run from the truth in his thinly veiled denial of reality and damn Sucrose to a cursed life that has been tied by fate and corrupted by blood, or will Albedo find the resolve to face his trauma and find solace in the truth?

Summary
Sucrose gravely underestimates the cold. Her first time in Dragonspine goes terribly wrong when a snowstorm traps them in Albedo’s campsite and Sucrose gets sick. With both trapped, dormant feelings bubble up from within the two alchemists, but they hesitate at every moment.
