“Thanks for the drink, angel.” Mydei said with a smooth tone, picking up the glass and contently drinking the sugary espresso made just for him.
“I- u-um…you’re welcome.” Phainon only but whispered back, not trusting himself to say anything more than that after he was struggling so much just to get a mere sentence out.
Mydei checked around, also now noticing that nobody else was left except for the two of them in the cafe. “..Come sit with me.” He said abruptly, quickly catching Phainon’s attention once again, holding back laughter at his surprised expression. “What, nervous? You were so eager to learn my name after all this time, I had figured you had wanted to converse more, but…I suppose not. Oh well, I’ll take my usual spot-“
“I-I’ll come sit with you!” Phainon said suddenly, any composure he had left withering away into nothing as he felt his chest tighten from both embarrassment and the state of fluster he found himself in.
