    “Can you bite me somewhere else this time? Caitlyn is getting suspicious.”
    This surprises Viktor, a slight rise of his brows betraying his indifference. Of course he cares about that— the sheriff’s been getting antsy about the murders in both Piltover and Zaun recently and one of her closest confidants knows exactly who it is.
    “I haven’t told her about you. Please, V. Help me out here?”
    Viktor leans back, looking over him, appraising him like he deserves. A good sign. Then he nods towards Jayce.
    “Take your pants off.”
    Jayce chokes, malfunctions.
    “What?”

    It's been a year since Viktor went missing. It's been three months since he's started showing up to drink Jayce's blood every few weeks before disappearing again. Jayce is going to get his partner back, no matter how much blood it costs him.

    “Do I have a mother?” Vander froze on his side of the counter, pausing the train of thought about finances and all the errands he needed to get done around the pub for next week. Viktor to his credit didn’t even look up from his drawing.

    “You have a father,”  Vander answered, still choked up about the whole topic; completely taken out of his comfort zone. Silco’s shadow over Viktor’s shoulder gave him an unimpressed look. “I know that you’re my dad,” Viktor said as if he needed to explain that to him. Vander almost smiled, if only he weren't feeling so nauseous.
