Summary
Gensokyo: The Fantastical Land of Illusions.
For more than 500 years, this realm has been home to the forgotten and the outcast, a home where reality is merely a boundary to be broken and myths are as real as existence itself.
From arcane and divine magic to mythical creatures such as the numerous, supernatural youkai and childlike fairies, to live in Gensokyo is to forgo any and all sense of normalcy.
But this land of fantasy is not without its guardians to keep it in check.
A young woman named Hakurei Reimu, shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine and youkai exterminator, along with the more-than-ordinary magician, Kirisame Marisa have cemented themselves as Gensokyo's greatest incident resolvers.
Entrusted with maintaining peace within the Land of Illusions, these two ensure that anyone must think twice before committing to any action that might disrupt the fragile peace.
But how will they fare against far greater, mightier foes? From a vampire who controls fate itself, to a ghostly princess who controls death and spirits and exiled immortals from the moon, will these heroes be able to overcome such formidable opponents?
And yet, the answer seems so obvious, but uncertain...
