The sun had been raising over the horizon, and sunlight that passed through the curtains had been covering the bedroom in a golden glow. Viktor stared mindlessly at his hand, raised in front of him, covered in the ever-moving lights and shadows, depending on how he twisted his fingers. It felt as if Viktor was manipulating the light, as if he could do magic…
“What are you doing, amor?” asked Jayce beside him, his voice muffled against the pillow.
