“Oh.” You say, and then, “What?”
“You’re honestly clueless.” She sighs. “Only God knows why I thought you were hot enough to talk to.”
That throws you for another loop. If this is how she treats the people she’s flirting with, how exactly does she treat the people she sincerely cares for? You’re not sure you want to find out. “You’ve been flirting this entire time?”
“Uh, yeah.” Haley rolls her eyes, leveling you with a look that tells you she thinks you're stupid.

The farmer is upset and Haley cheers her up. (Never mind that Haley was the reason she was upset in the first place.)
