"What game are you playing at, Mingi? Cause I am in no mood for your tricks today, I am so tired of this back and forth!" He's shouting, spitting out each word laced with venom, and he realizes he's backed Mingi up to the wall next to his desk when the others back thumps against it.
He watches as Mingi's face turns from shock to something else, something charged and unknown and Hongjoong's brain short-circuits when he sees a smirk cross the younger's face.
"Then do something about it." Mingi challenges, words coming out breathless, and that's all it takes for Hongjoong to leap over the edge he'd been tiptoeing for a long, long time.

Summary
Kim Hongjoong meets Song Mingi at the ripe age of thirteen and they are fast friends, as the years go by and their friendship blossoms so do Hongjoong's feelings for the other boy. His only confidant is the diary he keeps tucked away, and at some point, he finds himself writing entries to his best friend instead, telling him all the things he can never say aloud.
Their friendship suffers greatly when Hongjoong suffers an injury, and neither seem to ever recover completely from the aftermath.
When Hongjoong fears he has truthfully lost Mingi forever, their pulled back into each other lives.
What happens when Mingi stumbles upon the diary that held all of Hongjoong's deepest secrets for the last seven years?

Summary
Hongjoong can't breathe. He has no clue where he is going; he didn't have class for another two hours, but there was no way he could spend another moment in that apartment.
He sucks in large gulps of air, trying to get himself under control before he dives head straight into a panic attack.

Summary
Hongjoong doesn't remember not being in love with Mingi, can't recall where the love ends and he begins. He's kept that part of him inside for so long, forcing himself to be content with just being the one Mingi crawls to at night when he needs comfort. It was easier when Mingi would come to him about the faceless men in his phone, but now that his attention has shifted to Seonghwa, Hongjoong isn't sure how much more he can take.
He tries to move on, escape the feelings that threaten to suffocate him, but even when his body is pressed against someone else, all he sees are flashes of the man he left back at the dorm.

“Are you scared I’ll shoot you again?” Mingi was now close enough to make the room feel smaller. He placed a hand upon Yunho’s chest, right on top of his heart. “This time in the right place.”
Yunho’s breath caught in his throat.
“I’m scared I won’t be able to hold back,” he managed to confess. "Please."
Mingi leaned in, still keeping a few painful inches between their bodies.

Summary
Yunho is convinced they’re lost. The sun is blinding and the wind is roaring and he’s seen that same goddamn boulder three times now, no matter what Jongho says. His canteen has been empty for miles, they’ve been walking for days, he’s lightheaded from hunger and exposure and he probably has a mosquito-borne illness or two into the bargain.
“Just leave me here to die,” he wheezes, crouching down in the center of the path. “I’ve had a good life. This is it for me. Save yourselves.”
“If you can still be dramatic, you’re not dying,” Hongjoong intones on his way by.
Yunho squints up the slope after him. “Just for that, you’re out of my will.”
“If Joongie’s out of the will, can I have the kitana?” Wooyoung demands excitedly.
“No!” several voices chorus at once, making Wooyoung pout and flounce away.
