“Lies, Yoichi,” Kaiser sighs, flipping the phone around to show Isagi the icon for the game on his own screen, his other hand pushing Isagi away. “I’m hurt, is it because your total team power is…”
His boyfriend’s voice trails off as he takes in Isagi’s favorited character lineup, his hand dropping from Isagi’s chest, and Isagi winces.
“Where am I?” Kaiser asks, his voice far too even despite the fact that there’s a small vein popping out of his forehead. He laughs anxiously, worried that if he reaches for his phone to take it away, Kaiser will bite his fingers off like a dog. “You didn’t add any of my cards?”

Summary
“Kaiser?” another sound, or a scratch? He stands a few feet away from Kaiser’s bed as the blankets move, faint sounds of cloth and a high whine coming from just beneath it. He pulls the sheets away as if ripping off a bandage, looking ahead for the source of the sound, but nothing is there. There's a meow, Isagi’s eyes drift downwards, and he pulls the blanket back from a small, writhing lump under the duvet, revealing pert ears and wheaten fur.
“Kaiser..” he says out loud, and the cat makes a loud noise. He says the name again, even though it burns through his throat on the way up, and the cat mewls happily, almost eager, staring expectingly up at Isagi with its blue eyes, “you must be… Kaiser’s!”
The cat’s ears fan out like an airplane ready for take off, and he swats at Isagi’s forehead.

“…and I said I’d take custody of her.”
“You what?” he gasps, gripping his phone in his hand and nearly crushing it, “Kaiser, how are you going to take care of a kid on your own?”
