Megumi wets his lips. He doesn't miss the way Yuuji's eyes dart to the movement. A heady feeling simmers inside him, urging to be lit alight, but he ignores it in favor of feigning disinterest. He doesn’t want to be the one who gives in so he continues the unspoken game they’ve been playing, where the only options are to evade, or collide.
Leaning on the wall with an impassive expression, Megumi hums, "What are you offering?"

He says that as they’re conveniently on a beach, sprawled out on a large beach blanket, California sand between their toes, the sound of ocean waves gently crashing against the shore in the backdrop, the sun slowly rising above the horizon, illuminating the sky with a beautiful orange glow. They woke up early just to see the sunrise at the beach, an experience they can’t get back home in Miyagi.

To say Megumi is a tough read is one hell of an understatement. They only met the night before and now they’re supposed to spend three hours on top of each other. Awesome. Or it would be awesome if the guy didn’t so obviously hate his guts.
“I mean…” Yuji shuffles in place. “I’m fine with it, but if Megumi isn’t then maybe I can take the train—”
“—I don’t care.” Megumi crosses his arms over his chest and looks Yuji dead on. Which sends an immediate crawling sensation up Yuji’s spine.
Those eyes are… intense. Scary.
Four frat dudes attempt to make the treacherous trip to uni with a car full of junk and only one available backseat. Yuji has no problem with having a guy on his lap for a few hours to spare them all a second trip. The only problem is that Megumi is incredibly, incredibly hot. And also happens to hate his guts.
