Summary
You hoped to see Blaidd again more often than you would care to admit, under cold solitary nights; your fingers danced on your own skin sometimes, trying to picture how the scars across his muzzle would feel under your calloused fingertips.

Summary
In a quiet apartment building, two neighbours lead seemingly different lives. One is a reserved lieutenant, shrouded in mystery and burdened by his past, while the other is you, a curious woman navigating the ups and downs of daily life. Though your interactions are sparse, with fleeting glances and near-missed opportunities for connection, you wondered if there was more to the man you called your neighbour.
The days unfold and the distance between you both blurs, hinting at the potential for something deeper amidst the silence of your shared walls.

Summary
When you come to, it’s because the throbbing in your head is too much to bear. It’s all consuming, completely robbing you of your well-deserved sleep and you try to roll onto your back as you wake up.
Something is pinning you down, and you can’t breathe. Your chest can’t expand, and suddenly, you’re wide awake.
“Ship,” Price’s voice cuts over, tightly wound with stress, “do you copy?”
You can’t reply. It’s as if all the air has left your lungs and you can’t get it back anymore.
“The whole fuckin’ thing came down on ‘em,” Ghost grounds back.
Soap groans from beside you. You slowly start to breathe again, sucking in thin and dusty oxygen, but as you do, pain starts to bloom too. Concrete thuds somewhere in the distance, and more weight crushes onto you.
Oh.
You’re underneath the building.
