    Summary

“Every year, she asks if I’m bringing someone home for Christmas. I think she’s worried I’m lonely. And every year, I have to tell her no, which I just know breaks her heart. So I might have said yes this time.”

That draws a surprised laugh from Max, who stares at him with wide eyes. “And you don’t actually have someone to bring home for Christmas, I take it?”

“No,” the Monégasque admits, rubbing at the back of his neck.

“Damn,” Max huffs, sounding both surprised and amused. “You didn’t give her a fake name as well, did you?”

And, well, at least he didn’t technically do that.

    “Not exactly.”

    “What does that mean?”

Charles lets out a groan and leans his head back against the wall again, staring at the bright Lusail sky.

He takes a deep breath, deciding he’s already told Max too much to back out now, and offers him the kind of honesty he was unable to offer his own mother.

“I might have told her I was bringing you?”

    ---

OR: Charles lies about having a boyfriend to bring home for Christmas. That "boyfriend" is Max.

    Ch. 1
“I do have a question for you,” Max said, blue eyes turning a little darker once more. He fixed his shirt, messing with the top button out of habit.

    “Shoot,” Charles answered.

“Why are we here? Are you celebrating something? Are we hanging out? What is this?” He said plainly, a very Dutch approach to a Monaguesque issue.

    Ch. 2
“Before we… before this goes any further,” Charles said, his gaze intense. “I’m going to tell you exactly what I want. Every single thing. And I want you to say it back to me. In Dutch.”

Max blinked, a slow blush creeping up his neck. “What? Why?”

“Because I want to hear it from you,” Charles murmured, his lips tracing the line of Max’s jaw. “I want to hear the words in your language. It will be… a lesson. For both of us.” He pulled back slightly, his eyes locking with Max’s. “Are you game, Schatje?”

    Summary

George Russell believes in rules, discipline, and professionalism.
Max Verstappen believes in instinct, shortcuts, and never letting anyone too close.

When rostering throws them together, what should be just another flight turns into turbulence of a different kind. In cockpits, across oceans, and on restless layovers, friction sparks into something neither of them meant to start.
Somewhere between checklists and coffee, George finds himself colliding with the one pilot who might understand him best.

    A slow-burnish rivals-to-lovers story at 35,000 feet.

    Summary

Winter break arrives, and Charles Leclerc, having said goodbye to the SF25, decides to leave everything behind for a vacation. He sneaks into an Austrian ski resort, only to be knocked off course on the first day, crashing ungracefully into the snow.
“For god's sake, mate, don't you see someone ahead? That line isn't meant for—”
    His words cut off abruptly.
Because the man in front of him swipes the back of his hand against his goggles in one sharp motion. Goggles snap up, lodging against the top of his helmet.
A face, wind-flushed and familiar enough to make Charles's pupils contract, suddenly right there. Pale gold lashes stand out against the pink of his cheeks, and those icy, cold blue eyes are fixed on him, holding a mix of confusion, awkwardness, and, Charles is sure he sees a sparks of amusement.
“Charles? What are you doing here?”
The nerve of politeness and patience snaps in Charles’s brain.
    “MAX VERSTAPPEN?!”

    or

Charles and Max meet unexpectedly at an Austrian ski resort after a collision. A sudden blizzard disrupts their plans, and Max invites the unaccommodated Charles to stay at his place. What starts as a random encounter turns into an unexpected five-day stay together.
