George feels like a girl from the 80s, twirling a twisty phone call around his finger as he lays stomach down on a soft bed in a room drowning in pink fluff. He’s all cartoon heart eyes and stars-and-planets dizziness. Sapnap makes him so stupid. All sentimental and squishy and soft and sappy.
“Sappy,” George drawls, hoping his exaggerated accent drowns out the fluttery beating of his heart, and the excitement currently buzzing behind his teeth.
“Gogy,” Sapnap replies, not trying as hard with either the accent or hiding his feelings. “My dear. My darling. My kitten.”
“You’re my kitten,” George corrects. “My pretty little kitten.”

His head was held in his hands as his shoulders shook, and Sapnap could only let out a faint, “I’m sorry,” as Dream stayed bent on the knees. His senses had numbed but he could still feel his world crumbling from around him, his Dream slipping past his grasp.
“Sapnap, no, I’m sorry ….” And Dream’s words did nothing but ruin him more, the last piece of his already ruined heart burning into dust.
Or the one where Sapnap loved Dream, but Dream didn’t love him.
