Summary
An old Amazonian legend tells of the Uirapuru, a bird with a rare and enchanting song, said to bring luck, happiness, and love to those fortunate enough to hear it. Its song is so beautiful that, when it begins to sing, the entire forest seems to fall silent just to listen. It is also said that, before becoming a bird, the Uirapuru was once a warrior who, unable to live beside the woman he loved, was given the form of a bird so that he could sing to her every night.
For a long time, Shane believed he had found his own good fortune. That his love was a promise of a happy life, and that, at last, he had been blessed by the song of the Uirapuru. He believed that loving someone meant finding his place in the world, even as that love slowly began to turn into fear.
When the reality behind his relationship becomes impossible to ignore, Shane must flee not only from what has hurt him, but from the life he once believed he was meant to accept. Alongside his daughter, he will have to rebuild his own story while learning the difference between loving someone and being loved by someone. -

"A shot?!" Changbin blurted out, stunned.
"Yeah, a shot. He hung around with kinda bad people, but whatever. Point is, he got shot and refused to go to the hospital for, like, an hour because he thought his alpha strength would let him tough it out. Dumb idea. He almost died, but thankfully, he’s alive." Hyunjin crossed his middle finger over his index, as if sealing the truth of his words.
Changbin was speechless for a moment, blinking at the cheerful face in front of him. He couldn’t decide whether he found the boy even weirder now, or if he should just focus on how unrealistically pretty he was.
"Thanks, but I don't need to go to the infirmary. The pain's already fading."
"Alright!" Hyunjin smiled, pulling the ball a little closer to his chest. "But if you get shot..."
"I'll go, don't worry."{xxx}
aka Changbin likes staying close just to smell the peach scent of an extremely spoiled little omega, but how can he complain when he’s always giving in to his whims?

Before it happened, Wade was perfectly secure in the idea that Spidey was a beta. Not that he was too happy about the fact - him being an omega would’ve been perfect. Maybe Wade could have inferred from the four- or five-day breaks Spidey took every once and a while, but he just thought the poor guy deserved a break!
