Summary
With a sigh, Yang tosses her towel onto the back of one of the desk chairs and stretches as she turns to the beds. Both Ruby’s and Weiss’s are empty, which comes as no surprise. Ruby’s been happy to spend most of her free time with Penny, and Weiss has been pretty excited about seeing Winter again, so she has a pretty good idea of where each of them would go on their night off.
Blake, however, is on her bed, sitting slightly slouched with her back against the wall, sifting through her new Scroll.

Summary
Yang has always been physical in her affection. Even back at Beacon; Blake remembers her arm slung around her shoulders, a comforting hug in a time of distress, a small nudge to get a reaction out of one of her awful puns. But it didn’t quite prepare her for their relationship.
It takes a little while for Yang to figure Blake out. She knows her so well. Knows her favorite food, color, how she sleeps at night – curled up adorably into her side. She knows her past and her regrets, her greatest fears and greatest aspirations. But it takes her a bit to find what makes her blush and smile and feel loved.

“I could have taken it,” she says, a smirk that matches Blake’s spreading across her face. Yang takes everything she’d thought last night back; she does think they’ll be able to get along. Very well.
Blake snorts- the sound is surprisingly cute, another side of her that Yang aches to unlock. “Oh,” she says, hooking her weapon to her back in a clean motion, “I believe you.”
That’s when they really meet.

Blake starts. Her heart stutters and maybe she dies for a moment, but then it restarts; blood beginning to boil, throat closing up, ears flattening, then pricking forward, then flattening again. “Why didn’t you?”
