Pirkstein was too small, too dangerous, and one careless mistake was all it took. With their secret laid bare, Henry is forced to leave Hans behind. Which is why, as autumn slowly turns to winter, Henry is surprised and delighted to see Hans once more, walking the streets of Kuttenberg that he now calls home.
Only something is very, very wrong.
