Ford had taken up the mantle of teaching Dipper in a manner of subjects, but Dipper was a fast learner. On most days, he’d finish with his work before schedule. That should mean he gets free time, right? No. Ford was very… Particular. So he had Dipper spend his extra time doing other things. Like fetching him water, snacks, carrying out the more mind-numbing aspects of his research - what an assistant would do.

I did not foresee an additional journal when I began the Journal of Expeditions at the beginning of the Summer.
Though, perhaps this is less a journal and more of a written confession of the dark, insidious nature of Stanford Pines. I almost wish for someone to find and read this journal so they may send me off in handcuffs, but I know that the selfish side of me will prefer to keep it under lock and key.
I will be keeping this journal in a locked box beneath my desk, and for now, it will remain as Journal Unnamed.
I suppose I am my selfish side.(not a completed work! i'll be editing this chapter a lot as i add new entries bc i haven't filled in all of the gaps yet, so the entries i add will not be in chronological order. just wanted to get this posted.)
