Mydei's eyes were set on Phainon. He watched only Phainon. Maybe his behavior was a bit creepy, still he couldn't help staring at the way his Adam's apple bobbed while he swallowed another shot. The honey golden eyes noticed every tiniest detail on his roommate's being, from the one-day old stubble to the tempting beauty mark on his cheekbone.
Every evidence said ‘he’s straight’, he never seemed to be interested in men. At times like that Mydei wished he was born a woman. His affection wouldn't be taken as ‘being best homies’. Mydeimos put his heart and soul into every dish he cooked for Phainon, making sure every of them was high in protein. Phainon enjoyed every meal he cooked just for him, never questioning why he insisted on preparing them all himself. He never asked why Mydei watched him eat with a strange gleam in his eyes. He never thought that every dish was a silent ‘I love you’.
