“So you’re safe in here?” Naim nodded letting his head fall against the pillow feeling as Ryan left kisses against his neck and jaw before finally meeting his lips. They continued like that soft lips and whispers. Naim could feel the way Ryan’s hand gripped his bicep pinning him gently as he parted his lips letting the brunette slip in.
It’s easy to leave the farm but the traces will always follow.
Naim and Ryan settle into life working and living in the Melbourne CBD. The entity is always there, waiting and watching. But it’s something they can manage together even when it comes knocking.
Set a year or so after the film is, it’s giving late July just after the winds give way to the frost and rain.

Ryan exhales, smoke slipping past his lips. “Did it ever touch you?”
Naim’s stomach churns. He curls towards Ryan, shifting onto his side, as Ryan’s gaze lands on him, piercing. He shakes his head.
“Good,” Ryan says, lifting the cigarette to his mouth.
Naim thinks of photobooth pictures, of hot blood trickling down Ryan’s neck, of flame and fear. He presses a soft kiss to Ryan’s side, over his ribs, over the soft cotton of his shirt, and inhales his scent.

“Nah…” Naim’s heart stops in his chest, the joint between his fingers shaking profusely as he raises it to his lips, swallowing the ball lodged in the back of his throat. He struggles to push the words out of his mouth when Ryan looks at him like that, blue eyes sparkling in the setting sunlight. The other man’s beauty is distracting. What was he talking about?

Ryan swallowed dryly, barely breathing as he watched as Naim stepped out of his pants, an embarrassed flush dusting his cheeks.
He knew Ryan was watching.
But Ryan couldn’t bring himself to stop.
Naim bent over, soft, heather grey boxer briefs hugging his pale thighs, and a little cotton string, suspiciously pink, was dangling from the border of cotton.
Ryan swallowed, and Naim bent down further, digging through his gym bag to find his shorts. His ears were bright red as he let out a frustrated huff. There was a tiny blood stain, an oval of bright red nestled between his legs, just barely obscured from Ryan’s view. And Ryan, still shirtless, hastily pulled his sports uniform over his head.
Naim was bleeding.
