Summary
Just over the small cliff that separated the house and the beach was a figure, standing right at the edge of the water. Junhui blinked his eyes a few times — finding it hard to believe that someone would be out there at this time — and it was gone.
Huh?
But I swear…
Junhui shook his head, blaming it on the lack of sleep he had. Besides, if someone really went out there, he'd find out later. He knew every inch of the beach like the creases on his palms.
Junhui finds himself fascinated with the ocean air. It becomes more than just a simple breeze.

Summary
He watched the clock hanging above the personal office door. Each minute that passed felt slower than the last. Tick-tock. Tick-tock. He didn't think he could wait until they got home. Besides, they hadn't had sex in a few weeks or so, Joshua too tired to even begin a scene. He'd be forgiven if he just… took care of himself, wouldn't he?
The idea didn't sound too bad to Mingyu. Even the most obedient puppies would slip up sometimes.
What Joshua didn't know wouldn't kill him.
OR: Joshua finds his well-trained puppy being a little naughty at work.

Summary
As much as he loved doing it, Joshua couldn't host another exchange student. The one from last year almost made him quit his job (though he ended up doing that anyways), and the year prior just made him downright exhausted. Since he just joined a new law firm, he needed to make the best impression he could.
In addition to that, his home was pretty humble — he had a spare bedroom, but it still felt too cramped to hold an overzealous college student from abroad.
So, you could imagine his surprise when a striking man showed up on his front doorstep, looking like a fish out of sea.
"But I never sent in an application…?" Joshua asked, his eyebrows furrowing to morph his expression into something along the lines of confusion.
Junhui shows up at Joshua's place out of nowhere. Chaos ensues.

Summary
The summer after tenth grade would be different. Not any different for Seungkwan — the heatwaves and long trips to go to the east coast beaches were simply routine. He was well practiced in wearing lots of SPF, though he'd still end up burning in places he thought the sun couldn't reach. Most of all, his job in his family's fields was a lot easier because they had sprinklers to water the trees, not to mention the rain that showed up every other day. He wouldn't have to tire his back muscles from constantly grabbing and picking plump oranges, like he would during the entire other half of the year.
Seungkwan wasn't worried about the summer. Hansol was.
And yet, Hansol never had a more fun summer in his 16 years of life.
Seungkwan and Hansol have a rough start to their relationship. Once they get going, neither of them know how to stop.

Summary
Minghao thought she was going to be sick. Every effort she had made to erase Junhui from her memory — to get over her — was now flushed clean down the drain. The worst part about it was that Junhui was genuinely beautiful. It was true that while Minghao truly loathed her presence during their relationship, Junhui was never unattractive.
"Minghao?"
She gulped. "Hi, Junhui."
"You… look really nice. It's nice to see you."
Thank goodness nobody else was in there with them. The tension was so sharp it could behead Minghao as if she were being executed by a guillotine in Reign of Terror era France. She almost hoped it would.
"Thanks," Minghao replied, all the saliva in her mouth going dry, "you too."
Transitioning changes people. Maybe it changed Junhui too.

Summary
Minghao blinked as Joshua spoke to him, feeling the jet lag from the flight catching up to him. "Yeah, that would be nice. How expensive is a room for 4 nights?"
"Don't worry about price for now, let's get you a room! You look like you need some sleep."
Minghao furrowed his eyebrows, but followed Joshua as he escorted him down the hall. They went into the elevator and Joshua pressed floor 4, holding the keys to the room in his hand.
"What's your name?" Joshua asked, his smile curling up at the sides in a cat-like manner.
"Minghao," he responded, exhaustion rolling over him like the waves of the beach he saw just a few hours prior.
"Don't worry, Minghao. You'll love it here."
Welcome to Hotel California, a dream hotel in a dream destination. Minghao couldn't be more thrilled.

Summary
The bite on her neck was starting to scar up, but still looked pretty awful. It couldn't have been a coincidence that Jun started to feel this way after being attacked like that. "Maybe I have rabies?"
Jisoo facepalmed at Jun's obliviousness, grabbing her hand and dragging her off the bed. "If you had rabies, you'd have a death sentence. If my hypothesis is true, then you're already dead. Either way, we need to go find out."
OR
Best friends Jun and Jisoo find themselves drawn together after one of them miraculously survives what should be a horrifying death.
