At the age of 15 is usually when a young werewolf goes through what is called their awakening. This is when their primal instincts will finally start to show, their canines will grow a bit longer and sharper, and they will start to learn how to shift. It’s been like that for centuries, wolves of many generations have gone through their awakening, but very rarely does it take any more than a year or two for someone’s wolf to come forward.
Not Taki though, he's pretty sure his family gene skipped him or something, he turned 20 earlier this year and still had not a single sign of awakening. Being a whole five years late is completely unheard of, so he’s totally given up on the idea of ever truly being part of the pack.
