Kara took special care in returning her belongings to her bag, careful not to break anything, before taking a deep breath and responding, “I know how you feel about them, Kal, but Lena doesn't read that way to me. Not when I met her, not for the years we were friends, and not now.”

Summary
Kara adjusting to Earth, her awkward first days of high school, starting to make friends, getting to know her family, and learning to control her powers.
