In the light of the moon, a half-spirit crested the center of a crescent-shaped hill. Around her, grass grew and flowers bloomed, unaware of the sickly rot emanating from the temple nestled within the valley. The girl paused, heaving her axe over her shoulder. Her claws didn't so much as tremble, even in the face of her monumental task.
