Summary
The man’s hand extends upward, beyond Jesse’s sight, where it would be painful and awkward to try and bend his body upward to follow his movements — but rather than see it, he feels it.
Jesse gasps, shuddering as he feels the cold steel of the blade trace along the bloody skin of his open wound, running down the length of his torso until the clawed hand withdraws.
“Did you know, after the heart stops beating, the brain continues to function for well over 7 minutes?” A short pause, “We’ve got 6 more minutes to playyy.”
The thin line for what remained of the man’s mouth quirks up into a little smile, a dry chuckle escaping him. Jesse can see the exposed musculature of his face twist and morph with the action.
