Summary
Megumi reluctantly tore his gaze away from the sea and glanced back at Yuuji. As he ashed his cigarette, his eyes softened, focusing on the boy beside him. Yuuji observed intently as Megumi brought his fingers to his mouth, taking another drag. The glowing ember of the cigarette lit up Megumi’s face in the darkness.
Yuuji tilted his head slightly, curiosity and something unspoken in his eyes as he watched Megumi. With deliberate slowness, Megumi blew out the smoke, a thin stream dissipating into the night, then moved closer to Yuuji. Carefully, almost tenderly, Megumi brought his fingers to Yuuji’s soft, pink lips, pressing the filter to his mouth.
