"Pfft- what! I'm not a geek."
That earned him a raised eyebrow.
"Oh yeah? The Star Wars pin on your backpack says otherwise."
Cody started heating up and wow. He blushed pretty hard. He got so red so quickly that Noah could only blink at him in surprise. Cody scratched his neck awkwardly.
"How did you even...I thought I was being sneaky."
"Oh,” was the only reply he could muster. “Well, you weren't.”
"...I get that now." the brunette mumbled, smiling slightly.
He sat there silently for a moment, enjoying the cool air. The other let out a yawn, leaning against the tree bark.
He sniffed, eyes half closed. Noah watched him get comfy beside him, wondering why he was still awake. It wasn’t as if they were still in the challenge or anything. On top of that, why had Cody come to him?
Noah pondered on this thought for a few more moments, only getting more and more lost. It’s not as if they’d never talked before- Noah didn’t quite consider them friends yet, but Cody was pretty fun to hang out with. On top of that, he’d always felt some sortp of connection with him. Kind of like-

Noah and Cody are soulmates. Except it takes Cody a little longer to catch on.

Noah raised an eyebrow. He narrowed his eyes. Something about Cody’s fighting style…
“She can’t fly, she-“
“-Hovers, yeah, yeah, I know. That's what everyone says. Saying she flies is way cooler.”
Something about those words made Noah uneasy, like he’d heard them before.
He shook it off.

Talking with ghosts never really ends well.
“Hey!”
Even acknowledging them alone seemed to have its pros and cons.
Ghost are used to being fully ignored by humans, since they’re not generally seen by them. And when they realise you can, in fact, see them, they get a bit…clingy. Which is why he tried his best to ignore them as much as he could get away with.
“Noah…anyone in there?”
He shivered slightly as a freezing cold kind-of-finger poked his forehead wrinkle, frowning.

After the Yukon episode of World Tour, Noah sneaks away into the cargo hold for some much-needed peace and quiet.
In need of more blankets to warm his frozen body (and to get away from Sierra), Cody also makes his way to the cargo hold.
And thus begins regular meetings in the hold for these two friends (who eventually want to become something more than friends).
