    Summary

Giyuu is really nothing more than a seat warmer for a more competent water pillar to come along someday.

When he saw Tanjirou wield his family’s axe and defend his sister, he saw potential. In the short amount of time he spent observing Tanjirou, he saw many things in him. Kindness so genuine it took him aback; concern for others that made the world a little sunnier; and a sense of justice so strong it reminded him of a boy with peach hair. Tanjirou was strong, and he would only become stronger as he grew. He would make a great pillar one day, with some years of training and experience under his belt.

But if all his years spent as not only a hashira, but also as someone who was raised in a world where demons attack the innocent, it had taught him one thing and one thing only— the world was dangerous for kind people.

The idea of giving Tanjirou his spot as a pillar of the demon slayers organization makes him slightly nauseous.

Tomioka Giyuu, if he played a more active part in helping the Kamado siblings after he spared their life.

    Summary

The stained glass of Gotham Cathedral casts a saturated glow down onto them, painting the two brothers and the body in a golden light. It makes the blood staining the carpet look like wine.

Tim moves closer to Dick. Places a cautious hand on his brother’s back. “Dick, listen to me.”

    He makes a decision.

“We need to move the body.”

How many Gotham vigilantes does it take to cover up a crime from the Batman?

    Summary

He doesn’t want to see Bruce right now at all. Maybe he did, before he actually made it back home to Gotham, before they actually started speaking to each other and ended up arguing like they always do nowadays. Before he got the nanobots out of his friends, before he escaped Deathstroke. Maybe, then, he had wanted Bruce, to be in the man’s presence and have things go back to when he was a child, or maybe he wanted to have Batman come save him from the mercenary. But, he was Robin, and he didn’t work alone, but he was alone anyway, and Batman never knew he was kidnapped, and he never came to save him.

The address in his hands is old, and maybe the man had moved in recent years, and Dick made the trip for nothing. Maybe he should just turn back. Maybe–

“Dick?” Clark Kent looks down at him, exiting the apartment building where Dick had been pacing in front of for the last five minutes.

Dick Grayson in the days after Deathstroke, and after Robin.

    Summary

Quirks increased, ghouls decreased, and history changed. Nowadays, the average person would never learn to understand what the word ghoul entails.

Midoriya Izuku, however, was not the average person.

As the first one-eyed ghoul born in little over two centuries, Izuku faces an array of enemies: ghoul investigators, villains, and high school.

    Summary

“Sensei?” Yaoyorozu asks. “What is this?”

“Figure it out.” Aizawa grins Totoro style. “Only rule is no collaborating with each other— everything else is fair game. Dismissed.”

With that, Aizawa immediately leaves the room.

Izuku stares at the letter in front of him.

The outside of the envelope is plain looking, and nothing in particular stands out to him. There is a singular postage stamp decorating it. The inside contents are sealed.

Then it hits him suddenly: this is a puzzle.

Aizawa hands a select few students a coded message in an odd envelope. It’s cool— puzzles are fun.

    Summary

The last day of Tokyo training camp was approaching, and the coaches had something planned. Contrary to the belief of some of Karasuno’s members, it wasn’t a simple barbecue either.

The last day of the training camp would not only be a barbecue, but also a family day for all the players.

    Summary

Hinata remembers father’s days at his elementary school. Hinata remembers throwing his card out on his way out of class, too. Hinata didn’t remember his father.

It didn't matter too much to Hinata, though. His mother was more than enough.

Years later when she falls ill, Hinata finds guidance from a source he didn't expect.

    Summary

Before they could all change, Coach Ukai whistled everyone to circle up.

“A few weeks ago, we took measurements of everyone’s jump.” The team nodded, confused as to why this was being brought up. “While he spent the last week trying to improve himself, Hinata recently made a discovery that not only was he not jumping properly, but that his vertical height was much, much higher than previously measured. I believe it would be beneficial for the team to see so they could factor this new height into our plays, especially Kageyama. Once you all finish your water break, we’ll head to the basketball court again.”

or, Hinata's struggles at the beginning of season four as he finds himself being left behind while everyone else around him becomes better. There's lots of bumps, but in the end he ends up surprising a lot of people.
