Sparta, the war capital of Ancient Greece, has been cursed. Crops are shrivelled. Animals are dying. People are starving. Battles are lost. Sunlight is scarce. Sparta has angered the Great Apollon, god of music and light, and their patron god. And the only way to rid Sparta of the curse, is to give Apollon one of the royal children as payment.

Deiran told you not to stray too far from the castle. So, naturally, you did. Surely Deiran, the Lord of chaos, didn't really want you following rules. Of course he wouldn't. You are his king, his mad king, while he, is yours.
You hoped you were making him proud. At the end of the day, you were basically risking your life, walking through Deiran's kingdom, without him there. You are no god. That's what Deiran says makes it all the more amusing. But, despite his questionable way of expressing his adoration for you, you still stay. After all, you'd do anything for the mad king. Your mad king.

David licks his lips and presses them against your neck. You lean into his embrace and nod into his chest.
"mmm, you excited to ambush your first civilian?"You're about to joke that, no, you're a scared wimp and just want David to do all the heavy lifting (maybe you're not joking), but you suddenly have a thought and stop yourself.
"Actually..." You look up at him, your face still buried in his chest. "Maybe no attacking innocent people today, captain. I think I have an idea.."
