As soon as she’d seen it appear in her schedule she’d cursed and debated “breaking a leg”, since it had been too late to have another baby as a way out. She’d convinced herself that was too extreme, however, and lulled herself into a false sense of security that she must be misremembering and it wouldn’t be that bad.
