Logan needed to sleep.
He didn’t stop until he reached the door to his bedroom. He silently thanked whoever was watching over him for keeping Garrett out of his path tonight. He didn’t know how well he could keep up appearances at this level of exhaustion.
He entered his bedroom, immediately shutting the door and dropping his bag on the ground by his closet. He yanked his shirt over his head, tossing it onto his desk chair. He had just finished undoing his belt when his bed creaked with movement from behind him; he froze.
Somehow, without looking, John knew that his exhaustion had caught up with him and dulled his senses.
Like his own personal horror movie, Garrett was in his room. He didn’t even see him when he came in, didn’t register the light already being on.
He takes it back. Whoever he thanked earlier can go fuck themselves.
