“You need to let us do our job,” Hen stepped forward and attempted to put a comforting hand on his shoulder, Eddie recoiled from the touch folding in on himself, a protective shield over Chris.
“Eddie,” Buck finally found his voice to speak. Eddie’s head snapped towards Buck, tears streaking his face. “Eddie,” Buck repeated louder moving towards the scene, “you have to let them help, you’re too close to this you can’t work on family.”
“Evan,” Eddie whispered dejected. Buck clasped his hand on Eddie’s shoulder and gently pulled him away from Chris, and if that didn’t shatter both of their hearts.Or the 118 have no idea Buck is married (with a kid?!) and unfortunately find out when they get a call to the Buckley-Diaz house.

Summary
Bobby grabs Buck's arm, slowing his movements until he turns to look at him. "I wasn't aware that was something we needed to keep in mind- when did this start?"
Buck can see the amusement in his eyes, no doubt thinking this is just another one of his random ideas. Still, he can't lie to Bobby.
"When I was 19," Buck says, ducking his head down. Something flickers across Bobby's face, gone faster than Buck's tired brain can catch it.
