The borderline Florida minimum wage pay did not grant him enough to pay for therapy for the amount of kids who made a 6-7 at his face when he said that was where they were sitting nor the ones who acted like he was the villain for having them sit alone.
Will was ready for a break twenty minutes ago.
So, when he turns around and is greeted with the prettiest guy with green eyes and floppy brown hair, it takes him a second to remember the professionalism talk from both traditions and when he had a hockey agent to pull himself together.

Summary
Will knew God is perfect before anything else in life.
Before he knew he had blonde hair, before he knew he had blue eyes and liked hockey, before he knew his parents and Grace loved him.
He knew this God was perfect.
He just never knew if he truly believed it, yet let himself walk into open snares and watched them clamp down on his leg and watched himself bleed-like Jesus did, bleeding for his sins to earn the love of humanity. And Will is bleeding trying to earn the love of this imperfect God who so desperately wants to hate him.
Because why else would he allow Will to live next to this perfect, divine Mack. His true God.

Summary
Most of the time, it’s just Will dealing with Mack being a brat. He laughs it off or finds some way to make Mack laugh too. They bounce back from every stupid fight about nothing and move on with their lives.
Usually, it’s stupid stuff about nothing.
Today’s fight is just as stupid.
But Will is not in the mood to entertain Mack this time, even if he keeps reminding himself Mack just got back from a dental appointment to fix the teeth he chipped taking a puck straight to the mouth during a game. He has every right to be miserable.Bookmarked by nptamc

Will presses his lips together, physically holding back laughter as he leans over Mack’s shoulder to read it again. “We’re baking cupcakes in the sky,” he says with complete confidence. “You know those elevated restaurants? The ones suspended in the air for the thrill?”
Mack turns slowly to stare at him, eyes narrowed with deep suspicion before looking back down at his phone to reread the email for the third time. “Really?”
