For Neytiri, change started gradually. Instead of cold indifference, she gave attention. Instead of her eyes sliding past the human boy like he wasn’t there, her eyes lingered—acknowledging. Instead of “the alien” or “the human”, he became “Spider.” Neytiri wasn’t even aware that little by little, her actions were changing. Her words softer, her tone gentler, her heart more open—but the others noticed.
