Summary
He’s not dead. Or maybe he is. Maybe the incessant beeping, the harsh lights assaulting his still closed eyes, the antiseptic smell stinging his nose, and absolute burning in his stomach mean he’s in hell and he’s going to suffer this for all eternity. His heart still feels shredded, so he’s got that for eternity too. If he’s dead, he didn’t make it to the good place.
Tim’s about to give up and let himself go back under when he becomes aware of the presence of someone else. Even in hell, he can’t ignore his instincts or the hope that it’s Isabel.
