So he tries again, this time trying to make himself sound as kind as possible. Which isn’t much. And asks, “What is your name?” Yet it still comes demanding, imposing. And belatedly he starts “I’m Huan Chengzhu. And I could help you if you just told me your name.”
For a second he thinks the child won’t reply and he readies himself to just get up and drag the child back to Paradise Manor. But much to his surprise the child does. But is barely audible, which makes him lean forward.
“What did you say?”
“Wei Ying. My name is Wei Ying.”

A hand on his wrist stops him – and he looks down to meet the owner. Is Eddie, who looks hurt for a second before his expression changes to something more of curiosity than anything. “Hey, where are you going?” But Richie pulls his arm away and simply says. “Is none of your fucking business.” And he doesn’t intend on sounding so sad – hurt and angry all together but he does. He does because he is tired of them being so dismissive about him.
