In which Gen suffers from a rare blood disorder called Hemophilia, a condition where red blood cells clot abnormally and increase the risk of bruising and bleeding. Even the most minor cut, prick, or injury can cause excessive bleeding, which may—in some cases—happen to be prolonged.
Or, alternatively - After Kaiju No.9 is defeated and the war is won, Narumi has trouble stabilizing himself and fighting off his sickness. His powers spiral out of control as well, but he refuses to seek out medical attention—until a certain fox-eyed man decides to ruin his plans of keeping everything on the low.

Summary
Kaiser and Ness had been partners since they both joined the U20 team. They clicked naturally and everyone always understood their relationship and Ness working for Kaiser, Ness putting in the effort, Ness acting like Kaiser's dog.
It was common to see them together, Ness always followed him around like a dog.
Everybody was shocked when Ness passed to Isagi.
Passed to Isagi while Kaiser was wide open, well wide open considering it was Kaiser.
