“It’s not–” Youngjae huffs, “What if Junghwan-hyung sees?”
The sudden mention of their oldest takes Dohoon aback, eyes blinking rapidly in bewilderment. He scoffs, ignoring the stinging ache in his chest. Is that what it’s all about?
Dohoon had long pondered about their mess, letting Youngjae take the most out of him. He's just hoping that when the time comes, he will let him down slowly.

She has to check, just to make sure. She’s worked so hard to keep her secret from Euijoo so far and doesn’t want to ruin it with something stupid like that. Living so close to her feels dangerous. Makes it worse, like there’s no room behind her ribcage for anything else besides her heart.

None of them mentioned that the reason why Seunghan even met Sohee’s friends in the first place was because of the whole fake boyfriend idea. They both didn’t mention it. Not even Wonbin’s name was uttered. Just them.
Sohee closes his eyes.
There is no oh moment.
There’s just knowing.
Alternatively, Sohee attempts to fake date his best friend in order to get his crush to be jealous, but ends up discovering hidden feelings and pent up emotions for someone who has been there all along.

note to self: if you have the time for it again or feel sad and need a long read, consider reading again <3 you probably remember most of what happened throughout the story but it is very sweet and you end up growing attached to almost every character. this fanfic was also very popular when it was written ^^
if the author reads this: thank you so much for putting this work out there. your growth as a writer was more evident with each passing chapter and even though this is a long fic, it was a super easy read! i’m a big fan of sweet stories such as this one, and i loved the specific terms and customs that were made up for the sake of the plot, i think they gave the story life. i also really liked how other characters aside from hao and hanbin got to be developed and were very lively. my favorites were ricky and gunwook <3 i waited until this work was finished so i could read it all at once and i wasn’t disappointed at all!! thank you again for writing this and publishing it so everyone else can read it too.
